The English language and the aides used for communication are important for cultural convergence to take shape as the participants co-exist on the basis of effective communication.

The aspect of globalization has empowered countries to focus on English as an element of cultural convergence. Countries today practice similar habits in social and economic circles as English is widely acceptable for eliminating language barriers. It is important to note that English has impacted the world positively by giving the countries new values. The global arena enjoys limitless interactions with technology supporting meaningful conversations online and offline.

Elevating cultural diversity is inevitable in the modern-day as people move freely in pursuit of academic or economic growth. This movement ensures that different people share their ideas without limitations of language and geographical boundaries.

The best way in which leaders can promote social cohesion is through the formulation of policies that make countries dependent on each other. Opening trade routes and creating common markets is an effective way of enhancing cultural convergence in the world. The common markets thrive in communication media that open up reliable channels of growth for all participants.

Technology is a major contributor to cultural diversity and growth as it gives the participant’s freedom to pass important messages through available mediums. There are aspects of cultural divergence that make the practices meaningful to the beneficiaries.

Observing these values allows the people involved to realize hidden potential in their micro and macro environments. The decision to embrace diversity in society lies solely in the hearts of individuals and their life-time objectives. The leadership styles observed from the family to the state level must be devoted to the preservation and development of the cultures.

The value of cultural convergence is unequaled, with many communities opting to embrace new means of communication to edify their lives. Cultural values are crucial to society as they define their ethnicity and its dedication towards growth and stability. The following issues contribute to cultural development and convergence in a developing society.

  • Religion

Religion is a common aspect in all cultures, and this makes it important for social development. Religion addresses the spiritual needs of the people, and it ensures that the believers connect to the supreme deity associated with their religion. The dominant religion in any social setting defines the lifestyles thereof, and this dominates the social and spiritual aspects thereof.

  • Technology

Technology has facilitated convergence by allowing users to assume control over their responses and virtual conversations. Technology has enabled the world to enjoy digital communication as a medium for sharing social habits. The degree of social growth is indicated by the quality of life. Accessibility to technological devices and aspects such as the internet ensures that lifestyles are spread and shared widely.

Allowing convergence to impact lives positively gives society the ability to shun unacceptable habits and cultivate positive values.
