The security dilemma in the region explored to give an overview concerning the security situation in the Arab seas. The economic issues facing the UAE and the need for ensuring security in the Gulf region in the process of ensuring economic development will be explored. The Arab seas play a crucial role in the economic development of the United Arab Emirates.

Therefore, the security of the Arab seas is considered to be of great concern due to the role played by the Arab seas in the exportation of petroleum. Lastly, policy recommendations concerning the future strategies that need to be employed in ensuring security in the Arab seas. Introduction The security aspects of the Arab seas have been of great concern it is important for exporting and importing products. Considering the fact that the Gulf States that include UAE are export oil, security in the Arab seas is important to economic growth.

The Arab seas have been facing terrorism challenges that have been considered an issue of concern for many nations. For instance, the United States has shown great concerns for eliminating terrorism. The current government of America under the leadership of Trump as the new president has laid down strategies for addressing the issue of terrorism. The United Emirates has provided a unique position on the Yemen conflicts and increased tension due to the increased tension that has been in existence between some GCC countries and Iran.

The governments in the Middle East have been suffering from conflicts and increased crises of legitimacy. The engagement of the conflict in Russia affected the countries in the Middle East where the United States has been considered as an important ally of help to countries like the United Arab Emirates. The GCC States responded to the bad behavior of Iran where the united states were working closely with the other partners in the region in the process of responding to the threats posed by the Iranian regime.
