In general, it becomes a better performer since the staff is in the best form. This study focuses on finding out information about the school as a learning organization (Armistead, Pritchard, and Machin 1999, 99). Through primary research, it will seek to answer the question of how effective the school understudy is as a learning organization.

The objectives of the research include; finding out the readiness of the school to transform into a learning organization, knowing what a learning organization is, and why it should have a learning culture and why organizations should transform into learning organizations. The research will also seek to find out the importance of a good leader in a school, who has the ability to effectively manage change in learning organization, what drives change in schools, the barriers faced by learning organization when developing and the role played by new performance management in developing learning organization and systems change.

This study is very important because any and every school existing in this century must become a learning organization. It is appropriate because it seeks to reveal information on how this is done and the leadership needed for it to happen.
