Renewable Energy Student’s Name Institution Affiliation Executive summary There is need for conservation of the environment. Emission of carbon has been the major pollution effect that has caused a lot of harm to the environment. This has prompted the many methods employed to ensure that the emission of carbon to the environment is being reduced. The only method that can see the amount of carbon being reduced is through the use of renewable sources of energy. Some of the renewable sources of energy include; wind energy, solar and hydroelectric power. This types of energies will ensure that least carbon is released as they are said to be clean. Environmental sustainability needs a lot of efforts in order to ensure a clean environ. Both the private, and public sector should engage in ensuring that the environment clean. When it comes to buildings, there are measure that can be used to ensure that they reduce the quantity of energy that is being release from them. Modern technologies should be employed to see the achievement of reduced energy being released. Machines that can be used as alternative sources of energy can be used to oversee the reduction of carbon being released. One of these machines that can be used is the photovoltaic panel that uses solar energy and can be used in houses instead of using other nonrenewable sources of energy. Our arguments shall look into the importance of photovoltaic solar cells over the rest Introduction Having a clean source of energy requires that all the stakeholders understand the importance of renewable sources of energy. Improvised machines that use new technologies in a bid to ensure that the emission of carbon is reduced. Some of the new methods may not be 100% effective in reducing the emission of carbon but they can improve environmental cleanliness in a great deal. The photovoltaic panel uses solar energy to function something that has been enable it to be one of the machines that have been able to reduce the quantity of carbon and energy being used in houses. Therefore in this paper we are going to look into the importance of renewable sources of energy. The photovoltaic plates are one of the most recent technology innovations regarding renewable energy. Literature Survey Environmental conservation is an important undertaking in the community. When we pollute nature, it is difficult to withstand. Pollution has resulted to massive emissions of carbon to the atmosphere which in return cause global warming. There is need to look into the types of energy that are used to avoid the future negative impact that they may cause in the environment. This makes it necessary for use to ensure massive investment in renewable sources of energy is undertaken (Quiggin & John, 2012). The source of energy that is non-renewable is the major contributors of carbon emission to the effects of nature on our life. The major sources of pollution has been the usage of nonrenewable sources of energy atmosphere. Emission of carbon usually has a very hazardous impact to the environment. There is a need for us to understand on how this can be reduced. Global warming is a rising problem, and it is becoming more of a problem every day in today’s society. The carbon footprint set by the populations of the world has become a major issue and must be minimized. It is now the obligation of all engineers to think about the environment when designing anything. The world depends on fossil fuels every day, and this must be reduced and ultimately eliminated. This should be replaced with renewable sources of energy to ensure the future generations of the world. This task, however, is a difficult one due to the high power demands of today’s society (Quiggin & John, 2012). In this world if we have to understand the importance of renewable energy in ensuring that pollution of the environment is reduced. Different types of renewable types of energy are to be considered and get to understand how they contribute towards a clean environment. Several countries and major cities in the world have been involved in determining the progress that renewable energy has made towards reducing emission of carbon to the environment. It is important that factors like geographical areas, calculations and other environmental considerations regarding renewable energy should be assessed (Quiggin & John, 2012). The results of engaging in using clean sources of energy indicate that the factors that need to be taken in ensuring that renewable sources of energy are being implemented in the world. It outlines the extent to which only renewable sources of energy can be used. However, there must an element if fossil fuel (natural gases) have also been utilized as another source of stable power. Ideally no State in the world can fully depend on renewable energy due to renewable energy is unreliable unlike fossil fuels. The world demands quite high power consumption and therefore it is not realistic that this state will last with renewable energy alone. Bearing in mind the demand of energy required in the large countries in the world might be very high (Ken, 2012). Studies have indicated on how renewable source of energy has eliminated or reduced the use of other forms of energy that may be harmful to the environment. The renewable solution completely eliminates the need of nuclear power and reduces coal usage significantly. Due to this elimination, the world’s renewable energy has increased significantly. However, other aspects have not been taken into consideration such as: economic factors, environmental impact and interconnection with the grid (Hunt, 2015). The emissions that result from the fossil fuels and the negative impacts of nuclear energy has resulted to search for alternative sources of energy. Carbon emission has resulted to climate change in the environment. The effects of climate change in today environment is very much the focus of the governments on a global scale. It has become apparent that the current non-renewables resources required are diminishing and thus action must be taken to provide renewable energy (Jacobson & Mark, 2009). It is important to indicate that due to the gains that are made from the use of renewable energy, the modern construction of building should always involve those activities that could lead to reduction of carbon. Master planning of the cities and households in different parts of the world should always contain retrofitting programs and other integrated system that will assist in a great deal to assist in reduction of carbon. One of the things that should be considered is the installation of Photovoltaic panels which will assist in houses. Though the use of photovoltaic plates in the modern buildings, it is important to note that it may not be 100% efficient due to the changes of whether conditions in the environment (Yu et al, 2014). There are some of the advantages that are associated with photovoltaic plates in our homesteads; they are easy to install, the mechanical parts required are movable, the installation cost and the maintenance cost is not high compared to the rest and finally they produce clean and smart energy to the environment. On the other hand, the disadvantages are; it may produce energy in cold and cloudy weather, with lack of certain maintenance cost it can easily be damaged and finally, it needs conversion from direct to alternating current for use. Method used In this study we are going to consider different methods sources of energy that are there in the world. We will consider different researches that have been undertaken and also look into various government statistics that have been recorded in a bid to ensure that we get information has been made. Surveys will be best as it will enable us exactly determine to what extent is the world changing towards the use of renewable energy as a way of ensuring that the environment is sustained. Comparison of most important factors that will stimulate the usage of renewable will be undertaken to ensure that the concept is understood well. Several aspect regarding Photovoltaic panels are going to be considered to see the importance of renewable energy. Results From the above, we can note that renewable sources of energy is one of the ways that can be used in ensuring that carbon energy is reduced in the world by a greater percentage. It is an integrated system of connection of renewable energy that can lead to fully achieving the required results in the end. Solar energy being one of the renewable energy has got potential of ensuring that the carbon production is zero. However, alone it cannot be 100% be depended on as to a certain extent it does not provide the required efficiency. Photovoltaic is one of the innovation that has been undertaken in ensuring that harvesting of solar energy undertaken without any problem. It has led to reduction of carbon emission to greater extent. Analysis In undertaking a close analysis, there was an assumption that the world depends on itself to get energy and also it owns a grid of its own. Economic impacts and influences were not taken into consideration in most cases when implementation of renewable sources of energy projects. The focus is only on generating a technically feasible renewable grid solution. Scholars have suggested that a reasonable assessment need to be taken on the availability of renewable sources needs to be undertaken. Stakeholders should be ready to combine forces in ensuring that there is increased pressure on the usage of renewable energy. The governments also, is said to be the highest stakeholder that should ensure that everything is done to ensure clean energy is available in the world. In the cases where the implementation of n renewable sources of energy have been successfully used, we have seen reduction of the quantity of carbon that is being released to the environment. Photovoltaic plates is one of the improvements that modern building that can have as it reduces the amount of nonrenewable energy required. Though it can be difficult to 100% depend on renewable energy, it is important to note that we drastically reduce the usage nonrenewable energy. References Jacobson, Mark Z. (2009).
