What Khaled Does Every Day Introduction The primary mission of FBI Police Officers is to deter or respond to a terrorist attack, orother criminal acts, at and around FBI facilities. FBI Police Officers perform duties such as identification checks, roving patrols, and unscheduled perimeter and internal patrols. Officers also monitor electronic intrusion and communications systems (FBI Police) Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is America’s federal law enforcement agency. An employment in this agency is considered to be a prestigious one in America. The responsibilities of the FBI staffs have increased a lot for the last couple of decades because of the increased amount of terrorism globally. Moreover, America is a country which is targeted by some terrorist groups because of some of the highly debatable foreign policies of America. This paper is written as a report to my manager to explain my activities in a week if I appointed as an agent for FBI. For convenience, my activities are broken into daily basis starting from last Sunday to this Saturday. My activities on Sunday Sunday is a holiday in America and hence most of the people would like to sleep a little longer on Sundays compared to other days. But being a responsible officer in FBI, I cannot follow the same pattern like the ordinary Americans. I know the importance and vigilance required in my profession and have already started to wake up early in the morning by around 5 am. I spent 1 hour for the physical workout including Yoga in order to keep the much needed physical and mental health intact for my profession. From 6 am to 7 am, I spent my time for the bathing and other routine activities in the morning. I know that Sunday is a day; people go to churches for masses. In other words, churches are active in the morning. I know that antisocial elements or terrorists usually target public gathering places for executing their projects. So I decided to visit some of the churches in the morning to see whether any misbehavior is happening. From 7am to 10 am I visited three churches around and spent around an hour in the surroundings of each church. After taking my breakfast from a cafeteria I came back to my apartment by around 11 am. Then I spent another hour in making telephone calls to my parents, relatives and friends. Some of my friends visited my apartment by around 1 pm and we spent around 2 hours (till 3 pm) in my apartment discussing about our studies and assignments. We went for a film then and entered the theatre by around 3.30 pm. Even though the film was a nice one, being a responsible FBI officer my focus was on the audience and their behaviors. I know the film theatres are places which are mostly targeted by the antisocial elements. I came back to my apartment by around 6 pm and decided to rest in my apartment for the remaining periods of that day. My activities on Monday I have classes in Monday and Wednesday from 1 pm to 7 pm. So after the usual wake up by 5 am and the subsequent routine jobs, I have started some preparations for my Monday class. I searched the internet for some references and read my textbook for getting some idea about the topics going to be discussed in the class on that day. I came back to my apartment by around 8 pm after the class with two new assignments needed to be finished within next 6 days. I went to bed by around 10 pm after my dinner and watching the television for an hour. No official work has been undertaken for FBI on Monday. My activities on Tuesday Tuesday also started for me as a usual day even though I don’t had any classes on that day. After the early morning formalities, I went to a near supermarket for purchasing some essential commodities for me by around 10 am. I met some of my friends in the supermarket and they have given me company for my shopping. In the supermarket, I have watched one Nigerian trying to pickpocket an American. The American was not aware that he was pick- pocketed. I called the police who was patrolling nearby and informed him the details. The police have taken the Nigerian in their custody and retrieved the money stolen by the culprit. The police officer and the American thanked me even though I did not disclose my identity to them. I came back my apartment by around 1 pm after lunch from a restaurant outside and started some preparations for my assignments. In the evening by around 6pm, again I went out for walk in the garden nearby and came back by around 8 pm after dinner. From then onwards I started to work on my assignment and completed almost half of one assignment by around 10 pm. My activities on Wednesday As mentioned earlier, Wednesday is also a class day for me. I have decided to finish one assignment before going to the class and did exactly that by 12 pm. I came back from my college by around 8 pm and watched television and surfed the internet for another two hours and went to bed by 10 pm. My activities on Thursday Thursday morning I spent around 3 hours from 7 to 10 am for the preparation of second assignment. This assignment was a complicated one and I needed lot of references both from the library and form the net for this assignment. I went out by around 11 am to access the library facility for collecting certain references for my assignment. From 11 am to 1 pm, I spent my time in the library collecting the references. I came back by around 2 pm and slept for an hour. I woke up by 3 pm and after taking a cup of tea, I went out again to the library. Till 9 pm I was collecting the references and writing the notes from those references for the preparation of my second assignment. My activities on Friday Friday morning, from 7 am to 10 am, I spent for writing the assignment. I have completed the introduction part by this time. My manger from FBI called me at around 11 am and asked me to meet him on Saturday by 11 am. I agreed and continued my work on assignment during the entire day even though took some breaks in between. I spent full time in my apartment on that day and by around 10 pm, I was able to complete my assignment. My activities on Saturday As mentioned earlier, I went out by 10 am on Saturday to meet my FBI manager. The FBI office was around 10 kms away from apartment. I met my manager by around 11 am and he has given me instructions for the coming week. He has also asked me to write a report on my activities on weekly basis and submit by next Saturday. He has instructed me many things about the importance of my profession, the do’s and don’ts etc. I came back to my apartment by around 1 pm. in the weekend I like to go to Denver to hang out with my friends. I went to hokah bar with my friends by around 4 pm and spent around 6 hours there and came back by around 10 pm. Conclusions Working in FBI is challenging. We need to concentrate 24 hours/day and 7 days/week basis if wanted to succeed in this profession. Criminals or terrorists may not work on a scheduled basis.
