Globalization; positive and negative aspects of immigration Introduction Globalization is recognised as a phenomenon that integrated various economies and societies of varying countries or states in a single thread. Due to which, it opened various opportunities for the young and educated individual of varying caste, creed and culture. As a result of which, the rate of unemployment and poverty reduced that enhanced the economic status of the individual as well as the countries. However globalization also forced a wide range of individual to migrate from one place to another such as United States, Europe, Asia and Germany. These individual are recognised as undocumented immigrants. As a result of which, the rate of poverty and living standard of these individual reduced to a significant extent. Thus, it might be revealed clearly from the above mentioned facts, that globalization offers positive and negative effects over immigration. The main idea, which is highlighted in this essay, is the positive and negative aspects of globalization over immigration. Along with this, the refutation statements are also offered against the topic. In addition, the essay also concludes with the individual perspectives of Douglas Murray Discussion Develop and describe the main argument supporting immigration, its benefits, and its main justifications. The term globalization seems to be a buzz word, but in actual scenario, it opened the barriers for the young individual to enter in different countries. As a result of which, it presented varied types of job opportunities for the undocumented students that enhanced their economic status and living style. Not only this due to the presentation of such types of job opportunities the rate of gross economic product (GDP) and gross national product (GNP) of the nation may also be enhanced as compared to others. Moreover, due to such job opportunities, the rate of poverty and crimes of the nation might also be reduced to a significant extent thereby amplifying its prosperity in the entire globe. Apart from this, due to globalization, a wide range of individual are migrated to varied states such as United States, Europe, Germany and many others. As a result of which, the undocumented individual attained the opportunity to achieve higher education’s thereby enhancing the opportunities of jobs. Due to the attainment of higher education, these undocumented students or individual attained the scope to earn quite higher wages as compared to the authorised or documented candidates. As a result of which, the inner morale and motivation of the undocumented candidates might also get enhanced thereby amplifying their level of performance and efficiency. Furthermore, immigration also helped the students to attain scholarships as a source of financial aids that might help in fulfilment of the inner dreams of numerous undocumented parents. As a result of which, the living standard of the families of these undocumented families might get enhanced that may reduce the criminal activities of the nation as compared to others. Furthermore, due to political instability, numerous individual had to migrate to different nations thereby amplifying the scope of enhancement of the inner talents and knowledge. As a result of which, these undocumented or migrated candidates might also attain the opportunities to perform varied types of research activities in various remarkable universities of United States and Germany as well (Education for Fair Consideration, 2014). Due to these above mentioned facts, it might be clearly depicted that immigration proved extremely effective and advantages for the undocumented candidates. This is because; it helped them to attain a better living and better life style for their families. Similarly, migration also helped them to attain better educational facilities thereby amplifying the scope of attainment of higher remunerations. So, migration presented positive impacts to the migrated or undocumented students or candidates. Present the pivotal criticisms against immigration Immigration not only offered positive impacts but also presented varied types of negative effects as well. Some of them are presented below: High level of criminal activities within the documented students- due to the immigration of undocumented students within the nation of Germany , Europe and United States, the level of criminal activities among the documented students. Due to which, the rate of economic status of the nation declined that reduced its effectiveness and image among other countries. Reduction of the opportunities of jobs- due to the migration of undocumented candidates, maximum extent of the praiseworthy job posts are offered to them. As a result of which, the level of job opportunities for the documented students is reducing that enhanced their level of frustration and nuisance (Belle, 2009). Rate of interpersonal conflicts- due to the presentation of higher posts in the organizations, the rate of coordination and communication is reducing significantly. As a result of which, the rate of interpersonal relationship and bonding among them is also reducing thereby hindering the level of performance. Not only this, the level of inner morale and confidence of the documented candidates also reduces that offers considerable impact over the organizational productivity. As a result of which, the profitability and brand image of the organization also reduces in the market as compared to many other rival players. Lower level of appraisal rates- as the undocumented candidates include higher experience and knowledge, a huge range of the appraisals are offered to them. As a result of which, the rate of appraisal is quite less for the documented candidates, that creates a negative impact over their mental status. Due to which, their level of performance and efficiency of the documented candidates also reduces thereby amplifying the rate of attritions. Higher fridge benefits for the undocumented candidates- due to the presence of higher qualifications and experience, the rate of fridge benefits for the undocumented candidates is also quite higher as compared to documented candidates. Due to which, the rate of retention of the experienced and talented documented staffs is lowering at a higher rate as compared to undocumented candidates (The Spokesman Review, 2014). Therefore, due to such type of benefits, the level of conflicts among the documented candidates is increasing at a rapid rate as compared to undocumented candidates within an organization. So, in spite of knowledge enhancement and retention, high rate of brain–drain is occurring due to immigration (Youtube, 2014). Thus, it might be clearly depicted that due to the migration of undocumented candidates or individual within the nation of United States, Germany and Europe, the scope of opportunities for the documented individual is reducing at a rapid rate. Refutation statement of Douglas Murray for immigration in Britain According to my perspectives, Mr. Douglas Murray is not correct. This is because; immigration might help the undocumented candidates or their parents to increase their level of living standards and economic status. Moreover, due to the migration of a wide range of candidates, the rate of varied types of job opportunities are increasing at a rapid pace. Due to which, the undocumented students might also increase their inner morale and desire to fulfil the higher education facilities. Along with this, due to the attainment of varied types of scholarships, the undocumented or migrated students might attain varied respectable posts within the organization thereby amplifying their scope of success (The Spokesman Review, 2014). Other than this, due to the migration of undocumented students within the organizations of Britain, the rate of knowledge and talents of the other employees might also get enhanced to a significant extent. As a result of which, the rate of profitability and productivity of the organizations of Britain might also be enhanced in the market as compared to others. In addition, the rate of brand image and reputation of these organizations might also be enhanced in the market thereby amplifying its profitability and reputation to a considerable extent among others. So, the migration of undocumented students proved extremely effective for the nation of Britain as compared to many other neighbouring nations. Conclusion Conclusively, it might be stated that migration is a process that not only offered negative impacts but also positive impacts over the nation. It amplified the scope of job opportunities of the students thereby amplifying its status and life style. Along with this, due to the attainment of higher educational facilities, the rate of crimes also reduced thereby improving the mental stability of the undocumented students. Not only this, it also helped the undocumented students to attain higher positions in the organizations that helped them to attain higher remunerations as well as fridge benefits. As a result of which, the economic condition of the nation of Britain also became extremely enhanced as compared to many other neighbouring nations. Thus, it might be clearly stated that migration proved extremely effective for the organization as well as the individual thereby amplifying their economic standards and portfolio in the market among others. Moreover, it also helped in reduction of the rate of frustration and mental distress thereby amplifying their inner morale and motivation towards work. As a result of which, their rate of performance also enhanced that proved extremely effective for the nations like Germany, Britain, United States and many others. Hence, it might be stated that migration offers both positive as well as negative impacts. References Belle, L. L. 2009. How Globalization Works. London: Sage.
