The company falls in the 45th place in the Fortune Top 100 Best Companies To Work For. United Services Automobile Association (USAA) was developed back in 1922 by 25 Army Officers who insured each other’s vehicles. The company has grown since then and has not caters to almost 7.7 million customers and is one of the only companies that provides complete integrated financial services (USAA).

The company has its head quarters in San Antonio Texas and it is one large single occupancy office building. The company is not a unionized company. USAA has a strong and well developed human resources team which deals with all the employee needs. The company currently is a home for almost twenty two thousand employees. The human resources team is well developed and well equipped to meet the needs of the employees. The company deals with a number of different products which are highly competitive in nature and are focused mainly for the military families.

The company also offers a number of products to the general public as well. These include, investments, financial planning, life insurance and also other banking products like savings accounts, checking accounts and also CDs (USAA). The main aim of this organization however has solely been to provide financial strength and a strong foundation to the military families which depend on the company for higher and superior products and services. USAA and Laws: The changes in the law and major court decisions leads to a few changes in the overall organization.

USAA can be impacted by the changes in the law. Here any changes in the laws pertaining the human resource management, diversity and also any laws relating employees as a whole can have a major impact on the business. The changes in the law may led to differences in terms of the recruitment of the individuals. It is crucial that the company keeps complete detailed records of all individuals and also focuses on ensuring that the employments made are in line with the new regulations. Also reports need to be prepared and sent in case any discrepancies occur (Kidner).

It is crucial and will prove to be very beneficial for the company to also ensure that all the agreements, contracts with employees are changed and designed to meet the new laws. This will allow the company to be in complete accordance with law and will also permit a chance to be complete in all records. It is also crucial to note here that the human resources related laws impacts not only the management but also several other aspects of the company like the financials and also operations. Based on several reviews of people working in the company, it can also be recommended that the company focuses on developing strong policies to keep up with the work load on the employees and not make it an unsaid rule to work overtime (Jobitorial).

On the whole, the company has been known for the excellent benefits and pay that it provides. It is however important that the working hours are well planned and determined in the contract to avoid confusions and to ensure that the company is in track with the new regulations.
