I was taking private tuitions for Math and English because I did not understand what was being taught in class, thus lagging behind. At that time tuitions seemed to be the only answer to my problems. I was focusing more on understanding what had already been taught rather than studying for the class itself. I have realized my mistake now, which is that we need to be proactive in studying for classes. This helps us understand the topic and ask any relevant questions. For the Re-admission I would like you to consider these factors.

I was trying to do better and accomplish a challenging task. This led me to run off track for a little while but now I think that I would be able to perform better as a student and meet the standards of the university with out fail. I have finished the tuition classes and am free to take on the university courses. Also, I have a better understanding of the subjects and am proficient in English now. I will be able to understand what is being said in class and take part in class discussions. This time off has given me an opportunity to think about what I really want to do in life and I have realized that Concordia can help me achieve these goals.

I have planned out how I will go about all activities and studies during the course of time I will be studying at Concordia. Mentally and physically I have prepared myself to take on the challenge of studying at Concordia. Also, during the time off I have also matured as an individual and started taking responsibility for my actions. Experience has taught me a lot about life and its difficulties. I have also learned that I have an opportunity to study at Concordia and I should not let it go to waste.

WHAT HAVE YOU DONE SINCE LEAVING CONCORDIA UNIVERSITY THAT YOU BELIEVE HAS PREPARED YOU TO SUCCEED IN YOUR PROGRAM SHOULD YOU BE READMITTED (If you have been absent from the university for more than one (1) year, you may wish to attach a Curriculum Vitae.)Since I have left Concordia, I finished taking the two Math and English courses. I have studied other courses that I was being taught while I was in the university. Basically, I caught up on all the studies that I missed out on during my time at Concordia.

I have gone through a few of the advanced courses as well and I think that if I get re-admitted I will be at par with the rest of the students in my year. I did work on and off, this work has helped me grow as a human being and realize the hardships in life. It has also helped me realize that success does not come easily we all need to work for it. As Barbara Tuchman said and I quote, "Learning from experience is a faculty almost never practiced." Not many people can learn from experience and for somebody who has done just that should be a big achievement.
