The responsibilities of men do not make them superior to women rather they must take care of the women whom they marry.

Islam discourages the act of divorce but provides women with the right to get a divorce if they are not completely satisfied with the relationship due to any significant reason. Islam provides the divorced woman with the right to marry some other person after waiting for a specific amount of time. Women also possess the right of inheritance in Islam as they are given shares in the properties of their parents and husbands. Islam also provides educational rights to women. Women can also work to give financial assistance to their families. Therefore, we can say that Islam is a religion that discourages gender discrimination in every field of life and provides men and women with equal rights. Read More
