THE RISE AND SIGNIFICANCE OF HOME THEATRES Home theaters are sort of entertainment centre which are composed of two components i.e. Audio and video means. The entertainment would therefore normally have lagers televisions and hi-fi systems which often have three speakers properly place in orderly manners. The speakers are assemble such that one of is in front while the others two speakers are kept one to the right and the other o the left. Since many centuries which have passed, many people from all parts on the world had got these desires for getting entertainment. Through many struggles, they start to spending hours practicing on certain plays and games. While this was always of getting their life leisure occupied as well as body building activity, many people enjoyed the plays and sports. As we all have different talents, the early individuals also were talented in diverse ways. This disparity of talents also led the early generations to have many of activities for entertainment. Therefore, when some were involved in the physical training to either pass time or to have a positives healthy body, others were also busy on activities which were less vigorous. This included activities such as music and groups art performances by recipting some poetry and riddles to one another. These activities were of paramount importance to ones life and the community as whole. The lack of the most of essentials thing systemic devices which could records these arts performances of such a period got to the rotten rubbish which can not be retrieved by the new generation. This perhaps was could have been attributed by the lack of simple material for keeping of such records material. (Casetti, 1999) The early theater materials comprised of face to face performance. This means that the particulars performers were physical available on the theater scene. Both the art performers together with his/hers instruments were all staged on the theatre venues to deliver their message. Similarly, all this fauns of theaters performances were also in demand to walk for long distance to get the lives theaters performances at venues of acting. These performance of such people most contained sounds ands agile body movements. On the stage, the performances should be so thrilling and enjoyable by the audiences. However, there were some limitations of this actual stages watch especially to the spectators and audiences. This was especially affiliated by the obstructs which could often occurs while the performances worsen going on. These barriers created an environment to the audience which was not very favorable giving them unsatisfying result at the end of the occasion. The problem which e merged during these early stages of theater performances then gave challenges to the world. The challenges which arose in those days needed call for a transition changes which could makes many in the auditorium hall to satisfy their purpose. The problems of their epoch took sometimes for people to find a better solution. The first solutions 1whichc was attained was these amplification of these sounds together with taping of sounds. This start in the mid of eighteenth century. This was especially experienced in those developed countries abut not in the developing states. The sound recording devices developed by this period were manually operates and in most cases it could only be used with a particular type of recording device. The invention of the sound recording capability by sorts of certain devices made a majors step to these development of media materials as well as to the enhancement s of art theater performances. Both the recorded musical and the amplifications of sounds on stage performances were key boosters to increased numbers of theater attendants. Due to implication of sounds, many peoples could clearly grasp all what was going on in theater preferences, hence motivations to audiences to keep on coming. (Pamela, 1998) The advancements on the theaters work seem to go hands in hands with the advances on technologies. It may thus look to be a smile stone for many to separates technology and art performances as well as media. At around the mid of these nineteenth century mostly these year between 1850 and 1860s, the world experiences a tremendous advancements in technology. This was due to these discoveries which could record creation images and pictures. The mid of 1860s, many people were in the pool of using the new innovation and invention in storing their performed works. The scientist’s worlds had invented material which could capture pictures. Still further works by the scientists had also made available devices that were able to produce two dimensional images. This was just optical devices which would display sequences of pictures at satisfying speeds. However, the picture which was being devised required high specialist to design them on the boards. This adequate design could produce desires effects to the observers hence many people develop a great interest on the new technology. This was the first step to the development of the great technology which is widely and vastly used in the today’s world. Through the research which followed this discovery led to the development of a principle base on films production. (Smith, 1999) The early technologies were not much effective on displaying whatever was contained in the films. The pictures which were developed by these periods required the combination of certain machines which rather was not accessible to most people. The development was therefore a bit difficult in production of the final works. But as technology was still underway to bring new ways to ease the process, cameras were developed which easily could give the images of the pictures. Further discoveries unveiled the motion picture camera. Together with motion pictures projectors, the pictures were closely observed by these audiences after the aid of from the projectors. Apart from the visibility of the pictures which were on a film reel, such pictures were still mangifiable so that the real results were a clear observable product on the screen set for the audience. The attraction which was portrayed by theses pictures although they silent pictures was great. Many people gather specific places to watch them no matter the manners in which they appeared. This meant that the first cinema like products was based purely on visual watch. This was a common phenomena at the end of the nineteenth centaury were they were often innovated silent films. The development on the films preceded the breaking to multiples short on different sizes. The new techniques which gave the ability of breaking the films existing scenes also led to the possibility of projecting the picture at different positioned. Parts from these kinds of portraying there intended stories; there were several other techniques, which were used to pass across the stories to the audiences. These cinema owners felt somewhat not satisfying the audiences by giving them pure visual catch of the eyes. The received challenges made many of the cinema operators to calibrate their performances by commanding other entertaining means. They thus got people ion hire such as pianists, soloist and sometimes they could hire full orchestra. (Casetti, 1999) The rising of the cinema media was in those days progressing on its growth especially in the Europeans contents and in the united stated. The progression of this media faced some retarded growth in the European countries with in the early decades of the twentieth century. This was a timed when the First World War began. The effect of the world’s war did not affect the United States development. It was depicted to flourished most in these states of Hollywood. At the end of the First World War, there was still the enthusiasm to take the medium a step ahead. The works of some of the filmmakers of the 1920s still are remembered even the today’s worlds. Persons like Eisenstein, Murnua and others relentlessly worked to advance the worlds of cinema towards the modern level. The new texschnologies which emerged around this time made them to attach soundtrack of speeches and music. They continued to work to this kind of development until a level which at least was more satisfying could be attained. These led to these productions of better quality videos and audio system to the publics in the commercial zone. (Merritt, 2000) The development of this media has taken a wide step in development. The advancement in technology has always taken it to a new level. By the 1950, technology had very much advanced with computers becoming common in many places. Hence, by the year of 1950, home movies become a common thing in most developed countries such as these Europeans countries and in the United States. This is particularly due to ability to increase the size films. The other reasons which was the popularity of the home theater being installed in many places was that camera and the projectors devices which were previously expensive become affordable with drastic cost reduction. The first home theater 1whxich probably emerged from United States at Hollywood’s and in Europe at France nation were comprised of soundless devices. The purposes of theses devices comprising of small portables movie projectors were used to display the home movies of families travel and celebrations. In addition to this they could often be used to display certain movies which are referred to as stag films. The portable home cinemas would improve with time and the use of super 8mm film cartridges would equally change. This change brought with it color films while at the same time the struggle to do away with the awkward was eminent. The new imitation on the home cinema of 1970 and 1980s send the mark for 8mm films to garbage site. This is because they VCRs connection to the televisions set gave a simpler and flexible substitutes to it. The Krishnan’s furniture stores is then remembered to have special sound room inn the home cinema installation. This was in the region of Metairie and Louisiana. They installed systems could incorporate quadraphonic systems audio system with modified Trinitron televisions. This combination would incorporate a multi-channel system hence many of the systems were highly on demand in New Orleans. This would create a multi- billion projects in the business world. Despite the three day demonstration on the working of home cinema which took place on show ground, the combining of quality video and multi- channels sources by Peter tribesman enable him to yield multi – dollar business. The dawn of the new millennium was a timer for real enjoyment on which home cinema has incorporated laserdisc and xs-vhs players to greater screens. The installation of such devices has given a projected picture a more elaborated and detailed information to the audiences. This makes the system to a rival of big screens by sparking a new wave for home video interest. (Casetti, 1999) The homes theaters are significant to the community in several ways. First, they can be important in the provision of some information to the people without barriers and difficulties. This is because from the capabilities to captures the wide range of channels, such device stations would be able to display the information to many people. As many people would highly appreciates “people says that information is power to prosperity”. Thus this provision of information through the use of home cinema can disclose information to whoever watching over the displays which would make him more enlightened. Further, the home cinema movies play important roles in the police investigation work. One of the prime examples to this is the film of Zapruder of the assassination of the u.s president. However, the device poses threats to social life of people. This is because, the installations of these devices as home cinema have adverse effects to the users as well as the public whole being. Some of the home cinemas have widely been used in capturing of pornographic movies. The pornographic movie act were first existing to many as rumors but nowadays is the commonest in the world. This is due to the result of home cinema where individual are taped and posting such videos on the press as well as through the internets are done. Such Materials are coming to public without the correct channel. For instance, the honeymoon video of Pamela and Tommy is a good example. To a larger extent, the home cinema devices are also posing threat on our privacy. People with these portables home cinema devices would in unauthorized circumstances perform act of taking films from people without their consciousness in private affairs.
