“The sociological imagination enables its possessor to understand the larger historical scene in terms of its meaning for the inner life and the external career of a variety of individuals” (Mills) Sociological imagination enable a person to understand his role, rights, and obligation in his inner life as well as eternal life. As far as external life is concerned, a person has certain rights and obligations. Employment is the basic right of every grown-up person especially the educated ones.

Social organizations like the government should have the obligation of providing or ensuring employment to all its grown-up citizens. A country can develop only if all its manpower resources utilized effectively. Providing employment is the best way to ensure social security to all the citizens and also it will contribute immensely to economic development as well. In conclusion, sociological imagination helps an individual to identify their basic rights like employment, equality, and security in the society.
