Name: Institution: Course: Date: Introduction Innovation and invention are two different issues which deal with closely related issues. As invention is defined as a unique process that involves the discovery of new ideas, tools or methods. Innovation is simply the improvement or the development of the present inventions for the betterment of the invention. There must be inventions for innovations to be there yet inventions can exist on their own. In this essay, investigations on the telephone device will be issed. It's a device that can change our psyche, soothe and seduces us, at times it betrays us, and rattles us as well. It has gone through an extensive list of modifications to be how it is currently. It was first found in the year 1833 where Friedrich in Gottingen made an invention on an electromagnetic device that was used for the transmission of telegraphic signals. This helped other inventors and innovators with fundamental basis with the technological concept that was used later in similar telecommunication devices. Inventions by Weber and Gauss were documented as the first electromagnetic telegraphs. From their invention, there followed a broad range of other inventions and innovations for the success of telephones to how and what they are in this 21st century. This was documented by Payne, 1956. Telephones in the ancient times in the westernized culture. In the ancient times, that’s is in the period before the 21st century, the telephones were not as modified and advanced as they are. This is because phone's innovation will never get to and end since new features are introduced day in day out. In the olden times, telephones were not everywhere with everyone. There were specific calling points where people used to queue to make calls. Those who were not informed on how to use telephones preferred the use of telegrams for communication, which was time-consuming, Wasserman, 1985. Telephones by then were facing challenges where one could make a call from one line, and the recipient fails to be on the other line to receive. At times, one had to send a telegram to inform the recipient that he would get a call at a given moment. The barrier in that was, what if the telegram reaches its destined reader past the time one was to receive a call? The telephones, therefore, acted as a secondary orality. It didn't differ from the ancient oral culture of communication. This was before the writing was invented and implemented. This was the first form of communication where the recipient and the center communicated directly without the physical presence of either are vicinities. Besides, the telephones reduce time wastage, improved on the communication company as well as created a new idea to the inventors and innovators. Telephones then got further modifications, and many families and institutions could afford an easily access the. They were used at home, in hospitals, learning institutions among other organizations offices. The communication involved back and forth communication, interaction in the listening of the words accompanied by the provision of responses. The aspect of face to face communication was missing in the then telephones. One could not share images or audios either. It was used for making phone calls only. It was the modified to send short text messages. The installation of telephones at residents’ homes was not affordable to most of the families while some of those who could afford saw it having fewer advantages that its disadvantages. Therefore they decided to continue using the similar forms of communication which were the use of telegrams to send a message, of physical delivery of information which was convenient to them. Besides, the telephones used then had no photography potencies. Residents were forced to visit the photographic shops to get photographic services. Due to the scarcity of the photographic malls, the ones available charged expensively to the customers. Alongside that, the people then could not get internet services through their phones. They were forced to visit the few cyber cafes which sometimes got flooded due to the large number in need for it’s’ use. Therefore charge rate was high while at times the network could go low thus clients taking longer than usual to get the internet services. This mostly affected the learning fellows as well as those working in research entailed jobs. As it happens till date, the computers used for Internet services could only work when power, electricity, is available. Therefore at times of no power, no one could access internet services. This was a great challenge faced by the residents despite the series of innovations that were ongoing. Telephones in the current times in the westernized culture. Telephones in the current westernized countries like China. Asia and U. S. A among others is a primary device of communication alongside physical information delivery. This is after series of innovations have been made on them as devices, Kingsbury, 1915.They are now accessible to every family out there, each institution, and organizations as well. Its' impact is, it has eased communication among all residents across the broad range of financial groups among them. The telephones have been developed to carry more tasks contrary to the one service it could provide years ago. In the photographic department, almost each telephone device can support photography which consists taking of photographs as well as video recording. This has saved on the cost which was charged over the same. As compared to the olden quality of the pictures, the current telephones produce a high-quality photography. It also offers the chance for one to edit or delete the poorly captures photographs. This is in contrast with the older photography where clients were forced to pay and carry with them the poorly captured photos and poorly recorded videos. In the current westernized countries, the internet is accessible to all individuals. Only several blog sites cannot be loaded through a telephone. This has been a solution to the time that was wasted when one is queuing in the cyber cafes to used internet. It is also cheaper where fewer Internet Bundles can be used in comparison to the fee paid at the internet cafes. This has opened a wide range of researchers and improved the teaching methods to be used in institutions of higher learning. The students are exposed to the research field thus making them innovative and inventive they carry their research. Since nothing exists, that is the perfection of all individuals. The telephones are highly disadvantaging students. This is when they don't take the time to do thorough research, read large-pages documentaries to give their answers for assessment, the got to the internet blogs and copied what is available pertaining the particular subject. This results in a class of several students submitting the similarly written documents. Besides, we have games in the telephones which are addictive to the society. Videos shared as a result if the telephones' invention has made the society raise the alarm. This is due to the explicit writings, documentaries, videos and music as well which a vice to the community is. This has led to increasing in immorality in the society where rape cases and thuggery has become a Daily News item. The current telephones on the market of the westernize countries can allow the face to face communication through several social medias' software applications. These applications may be the IMO form, WHATSAPP application among others. This has reduced impersonation which was a problematic factor in the olden society. Besides, the innovation of telephones has brought almost all banking services at hand. They entail the table banking where one can deposit and withdraw money from their bank accounts on the telephones without having to visit the bank branches. This has cut on the cost many citizens spent going to and fro to the bank. It also enables them to do the transactions at any hour of the day as compared to the olden times where transactions could only be done during the country’s official work hours. Conclusion In conclusion, the innovations made on the telephone has impacted positively to the economic and communication sector of the world. It has brought about the new lifestyle to the residents who are better than the traditional way of life. It has also brought about the development of the learning and research field. Currently, one can use their telephones control many machines. It has recently been invented that you can control your car and the personal computer using your telephone. Besides, a program that is used to monitor the house dustbin is a recent interesting innovation. On your phone, the program shows how the trash is getting full in percentage. And when 100% full rings an alarm on the phone for it to be emptied. This was after internet accessibility to everyone, where the research world is growing rapidly. The business community is fast growing as a result of the ongoing innovations and inventions. Different companies, organizations, and institution market their goods which are accessible to the citizens on researching on their telephones. Their applications implemented in the business world where individuals can buy products from their land country and abroad. The don't necessarily have to travel to the selling country but make orders, pay online through their telephones and wait for the goods to be delivered to the address given. I recommend that the innovative world grows more and more as the users base their use of the inventories in line with the society’s virtues. References Kingsbury, J. E.
