The paper "The Sole Sovereignty of Israel over Jerusalem " is an outstanding example of an essay on politics. The sole sovereignty of Israel over Jerusalem has been a controversial issue for several decades. Although Palestinians and Christians are permitted to move across the City, the major portion of the city is under the control of Israel since 1967. However, it has been proved that the secular policy of Israel has enabled Palestinians to have easy access to their sacred place Western Sacred Wall. We believe that only if the Israel sovereignty continues the secularism would flourish in this region.

At the same time, we propose that Palestinians should pass through a checkpoint to ensure that no weapon is being brought into the city. Although discrepancy has been persisting, Israel permits all religious beliefs to be practiced in Jerusalem. The Prime Minister Benchamin Netanyahu (2009) expressed the Israel policy on this issue in his address on the occasion of Jerusalem Day State Ceremony United Jerusalem is the capital of Israel. Jerusalem has always been and always will be ours.

It will never again be divided or cut in half. Jerusalem will remain only under Israel’ s sovereignty. In the united Jerusalem, the freedom of worship and freedom of access for all three religions to the holy sites will be guaranteed, and it is the only way to guarantee that members of all faiths, minorities, and denominations can continue living here safely. ” (Prime Minister’ s Office). Palestinians can not offer Jewish people or Christian’ s easy entry to Jerusalem. Moreover, Jewish have the privilege to own Jerusalem because since the beginning of Judaism this Holy City has been their capital.

The benefit of this sovereignty has already been proved because every day hundreds of pilgrims and tourists from all over the world visit Jerusalem. Therefore, this control should be continued while permitting Palestinians and Christians to worship in their Holy places.
