The news article covers the issue of sexual harassment in the workplace. There are two women’s Victoria Luke and Eliza Bradford that have filed a suit alleging to have been sexually harassed while working at a Vermont business. The company fired them for raising concern about sexual harassment (D’Ambrosio, 2015). Bradford was fired as she complained of sexual harassment in the company (D’Ambrosio, 2015). She was fired when already pregnant. Luke, on the other hand, complained of harassment from Calvin and other male co-workers.

She was fired and also subjected to demeaning names by the boss. Luke was also subjected to sexual advances as she requested a recommendation letter from her boss. The suit was filed in December last year in Vermont Superior Court. The suit is against FireCo LLC (D’Ambrosio, 2015). Luke notes that the treatment that they faced was traumatizing. It continues to haunt them until now. The article is relevant to women's studies. This is because it highlights the challenges faced by women in modern societies.

It also shows how some men disregard women and their various roles. The information from the article has helped in the current understanding of women's studies.
