For instance, during a biology class, the learner can converse with the facilitator and other students, open a lab session video on the same topic while reading notes, which is not possible in a classroom set up where one task is suitably done at a time. Additionally, skyping allows for flexibility in learning as it is possible to conduct lessons online despite the time of the day or distance. This even makes learning more personalized and less demanding in terms of physics teaching in a classroom. Innovations within the education sector have made learning more personalized and self-centered. This is better and friendlier to the users of social networks or rather electronic media. The internet allows platforms where teachers and learners can form learning or discussion groups. The ability to access information on nearly all subject matter by just a click on the computer or cell phone and ease of research work, e-learning benefits outcompetes classroom teaching which is not digitalized (Lahti, Hätönen & Välimäki, 2014). Any person, student or teacher, can access knowledge or information through the internet as long as he/she is connected via either a phone or computer. Many organizations expend the internet to train employees as well without necessarily having a workshop seminar. This simply means learning can be personalized through the use of electronic media devices. In our modern world today, many people including the old and the working class, have got an opportunity to attend classes at home or working place, which makes it most favorable and suitable than the physical attendance of class. This initial (non-electronic) approach is limiting in that people may shy away from going to school either because of their age, perceived inferiority when ranked in an exam, which contradicts e-learning where nearly everything is personalized between you and the educator or ‘electronic device user per se." Digital learning has multiple features in contrast to ‘old school education.’ For example, electronic media has ensured the ease of information and data access via computers, mobile phones or through social networks (Mehdipour & Zerehkafi, 2013). This simply means that an individual can learn even when traveling, something which cannot be achieved in a classroom-building mode of learning. Online learning or rather internet access provides the learner with the capacity to gather all information required in the area of study and from various sources, colored picture and video learning. Additionally, electronic media has made learning more interesting because students can communicate and access information from tutors, fellow learners and scientists/researchers across the world without necessarily meeting them physically or attending class in a room/building (Simonson, Smaldino & Zvacek, 2014). Learners are also able to discuss or contribute to a forum while learning. A student can revisit his/her work severally as it is in print form. Consequently, sound recording makes it easy to listen to a lecture clearly by rewinding. E-Learning allows students to learn at their own time. Briefly, digital learning (e-learning) is far much better than the former approach of education, which is teaching students in a classroom, because it has new elements that lack in the ancient system; it is more personalized compared to the former methods and flexible both to the educator and the learner. However, technology use among youths needs to be moderated especially among teenagers so as to minimize the negative impacts of technology.
