In most cases, the society in question depends on the authoritarian or liberal spheres in order to effect the standard decisions made by use of influence through the media. Agenda setting, framing, and propaganda are both effective and negative depending on the society enabled through the reception from the public. Discussion The influence of public opinion on media coverage as well as government policy can be used for authoritative society in terms of control and effective regulation. As opposed to the traditional media, which had no equivocal framework in guiding of agenda from the citizens, today’s settings ensure that the opposite is true. For example, in China, the country boasts the highest number of internet users. In such circumstances, the online use of public opinion has an effect towards the governance, political deliveries, and policies formed for the society (Klaehn, 2010).
