Once researcher asks questions with their questionnaire, data analysis becomes very simple as the researcher can use software such as the SPSS to easily decode and interpret all data collected; especially those collected using closed-ended Likert questions. It is also agreed that the use of a questionnaire comes with the limitation that some questions may be ignored by respondents. As a way of dealing with this situation, researchers are admonished to ask fewer questions in ways that can guarantee the collection of several data.

Much is also agreed on in the presentation on the use of the interview. Generally, an interview will present the researcher with the opportunity of collecting not just verbal data but also non-verbal data in the form of emotions, gestures, and facial expressions (Houser, 2008). Meanwhile, for most qualitative and other behavioral studies, these non-verbal data are often useful for decision-making. In the event of collecting data on patient satisfaction with nurse rounds, for instance, attributes of the respondents such as joy happiness, disappointment, and anger can be collected as part of data needed to draw conclusions on the level of satisfaction of patient when the interview is used.

Regardless of these advantages, the fact that the interview is often preferable when there is only a fewer group of respondents can also not be denied.
