Monroe will certainly provide me the greatest honor in growing in this career both as a student and as an individual. I still believe that there is more to come because criminal justice is a wide and detailed area of professionalism. Criminal justice entails law enforcement, legal studies, human services, corrections, probation, and parole. In addition to that, it extends to human services offered at both the federal and state level. The Monroe College will adversely provide me the opportunity to study and understand the wide range of issues that exist in our society.

Currently, my community is ravaged by a mirage of problems, all criminal-related. Existing solutions seem to work, but there is a need to provide long-term solutions especially for complex problems. I believe the knowledge that I will garner at Monroe will provide me with the knowledge and skill to provide lasting solutions to the benefit of the community.  It will be an honor for me to be a wind of change in the community I grew up in and help carry the vision of prosperity through criminal justice.

An opportunity at Monroe College will give me this chance. Further, an opportunity at Monroe College will provide me the opportunity to accomplish all the goals that I wish to achieve in life. This confidence roots itself in the fact that Monroe College strives to provide quality education to students. I truly admire the college's mission statement because it offers students a good environment that will allow me to feel challenged. In addition to that, the environment at Monroe College will make me feel supported and plant a determined spirit in me.

This will help me thrive and realize the success of my dreams.
