NАGЕMЕNT ОF ТЕСHNОLОGY 3 Name Institution Instructor Date Overview of cloud computing The description of cloud computing involves a collection of virtualization servers that are able to offer scalable services, infrastructure, storage and applications for various users over the internet. The current state of cloud computing is such that almost everyone discussing or talking about it around the globe. This state has resulted in the movement of business applications to the adoption of cloud computing. Further, there has been a shift by models used in traditional computing to that of cloud computing which has made significant contributions to the steady gaining of momentum by the internet. The state of cloud computing is promising in the sense that it allows for the collaboration of new ways of computing especially through mobile devices. There are several fundamental models in cloud computing which are largely related to the source of cloud services. Agencies may be involved in the adoption of one model of cloud computing or a mixture of various models in applications that require business and delivery services. The internal or private system of cloud computing involves the provision of cloud services for organizational use only. The management of such clouds and the operations associated with them may require the involvement of a third party especially if the services that are done off site (Puttini and Mahmood, 2013). Cloud computing allows convenient, ubiquitous and available accessibility to a shared pool of computing resources that can be subjected to a series of configurations. The other one is the community cloud computing where the sharing of cloud computing services takes place among various enterprises where they offer guidance to certain communities with common interests and concerns. Such interests and concerns may include compliance considerations, mission, and policy and security requirements among others. The management of such community services may also requite the involvement of a third party. There is a special case of community cloud computing which is associated with the government. In this case, the provision of services is done by various agencies that play the role of a services provider. Cloud computing and solutions in the storage of data are able to present the users with various options to process and store their data and information in centers that are operated and managed by third parties. The functionality of cloud computing is dependent on the shared resources for the achievement of coherence as well as the economies of scale with similarities to utilities over networks. The state of foundation that describes the operation of cloud computing relies on a broad concept of shared services and converged infrastructure (Sosinsky, 2011). Status of cloud computing and lessons learnt Currently, cloud computing places a lot of focus on enhancing the effectiveness of the shared data and information. Cloud computing resources are not always subjected to sharing that involves multiple users but their dynamic reallocation is based on demand. Following the performance of an independent research on cloud computing in relation to its regional and global states, several lessons have been learnt. These include the advantages as well as the disadvantages associated with the application of cloud computing in various sectors. The research also made it possible to understand the aspects that are still required by the cloud-computing phenomenon which include the modification into suitability for business enterprises and other sectors in an economy. However, the ability to strike a balance between the benefits and challenges associated with cloud computing play an important role in the decision-making process. Further, the carrying out of an independent research enabled the identification of the similarities and differences with regard to the accrued value for the adoption of the traditional information and computing solutions. The other lesson learnt is the one concerned with the adoption and application of cloud computing. It has been learnt that it is possible to realize the adoption of cloud computing in countries that are still developing (Furht and Escalante, 2010). In addition, the adoption would enhance development in such countries by allowing firms and organizations to access their respective markets with a lot of ease. The adoption of cloud computing also plays a significant role in offering platforms that are useful in the delivery of services taking place in the business enterprises. Recently, various businesses and scholarly associations have assembled expansive computing frameworks from various sectors to understand the nature of issues that may be challenging to the development of cloud computing. These associations have taken a variety of appropriate ways and strategies to address those challenges amicably. Additionally, such associations have utilized their programs and equipment in giving stockpiling, administration as well as cloud computing information to certain specific clients. There is an indication that the equipment and programming environment that execute this administration based environment as a distributed computing environment. Since the concept of cloud, computing is generally new; there is not all inclusive concession to its understanding. A few individuals utilize framework of this concept in registration, utility processing, or application of administration suppliers to depict the same stockpiling and information administration thoughts that constitute distributed computing (Antonopoulos and Gillam, 2010). Strategies in addressing key issues globally and in Australia The major focus of the Australian Government in relation to the application of various strategies in addressing issues surrounding cloud computing involves the development of a risk and principled based initiative. This initiative is also adopted by various agencies to assist in the rationalization their information, communication and technological resources as well as towards the adoption of cloud computing in appropriate circumstances. Cloud computing is an example of the several sourcing models that should be considered by agencies as an appropriate and effective replacement for sourcing models that are currently in existence. The study on the current state of cloud computing as well as the strategies employed in addressing the issues affecting it at the local and global levels have described a number of approaches to cloud computing. Such approaches together with strategies can only be realized upon successful application of performance standards (Winkler, 2011). Cloud computing technological aspects guarantee another method used in providing versatile computing resources and making it possible to have the design of other related applications. Individuals who have auspicious accessibility to computing administrations, resources and reasonable expenses have been able to ensure a decrease in exertion and speculation. Cloud computing is alluring to research as well as instructive gatherings in the sense that it leads to the creation of the environment where even enormous exploration and scholarly foundations are comparable to deficient assets which include financing and securing assets to adequately enhance their training and examination sessions. For examination and instructive bunches without satisfactory resources in creating conducive environments, cloud computing offerings could be seen as a suitable arrangement (Jamsa, 2013). On the other hand, the research on strategies that would address issues of cloud computing in Australia as well as around the globe requires regular and expansive computational assets with a brief time exploration arrangement. Additionally, a few different imperatives regarding innovative base such as the execution of computing, instructive destinations, mastering propelled innovations and economy are important considerations. From an economic perspective, it appears that distributed computing would be one of the best solutions in addressing cloud-computing issues at global level. One of the vital viewpoints that need to be considered is the specialization of instructive components, which are likely to influence the choice of cloud computing arrangements as well as the manner in which cloud computing components could be used to enhance their effectiveness in operating environments (Hill, 2013). Latest applications used in cloud computing techniques have taken place in the last couple of decades. Such applications include dramatic improvements in computing storage, power as well as the development of networks. There is also the introduction of other computing applications that are frequently adopted by designers of communication systems. However, new applications have been able to prompt new requests for more effective computing systems. To meet such computing system requirements, framework fashioners are continually searching for new framework designs and calculations to transform bigger accumulations of information more rapidly than is attainable with today's frameworks. Cloud computing issues that can exploit the total figuring force of numerous systems are more troublesome compared to those experienced in other sectors of technology (Lozano and Marks, 2013). Conclusion While more experience is obtained through cloud computing, the depth and breadth cloud computing implementations and other sectors of application are also likely to increase. Similar to the other techniques adopted in the performance of high level computing, cloud computing has the ability to offer certain technological underpinnings for that are necessary in the collection, processing and storage of large volumes of data and information. Based on the lessons learnt and the establishment of the strategies used in addressing cloud computing issues, there has been a demonstration of significant achievements and developments in the sector of communication and technology. So far, the continued conduction of research studies as well as the ongoing developments in networking and computing technology is expected to result in major impact on various sectors of the society both regionally and internationally.
