Introduction to SRS This is a system development guide that has a comprehensive description of the intended purpose of the system under development. In essence, this document gives an insight as well as the description of how the system/software under development will operate and the functionalities that are expected to deliver. It is therefore necessary for any development adventure to have a fully workable SRS. The main reason is that it minimizes and reduces drastically the effort and the amount of time that is required by the development team to achieve the desired goals and also minimizes the development cost. An effective or a well outlined SRS highlights on the following; Explains how the system will interact with other hardware parts that must be there to run the system System interaction with other programs Interaction of the system with the users through the interfaces And the must-have system aesthetics like; Response time System reliability System availability The processing speed of the system Maintainability of the system Portability Inter-operability Security of the data that is under processing through the use of encryption techniques, access rights or use of passwords Purpose We live in an era that is full of unprecedented changes and transformation; be it in the education sector, economical aspect, business environment, or the social aspect.

These transformations were ushered in and transformed through the introduction of mobile computing devices. This means that the future will rely more on the active usage of mobile-driven platforms and programs. In order to be part of that transformation process, the Dean of College's idea of going mobile in doing the business within the school is brilliant.

The automation process that will be taken into account in regards to the above scenarios are; Students registration to the stock markets Students to buy and sell within the stock markets Professors registration Professor to control the classes and the students taking the class Professor to create and or upload assignment Students to upload pictures System to include discussion platforms or chartrooms System to run a script that ranks the sales performance of the students on a weekly and monthly basis System to award extra points to the best student in terms of weekly or monthly ranking The system to provide a link to Qatar publicly traded companies so that the students can venture and do their sales with them. The audience of the SRS The audience/users that will be addressed in this SRS are; The professor The student The Qatar trading companies The above three users will be the major active users of the system in order to realize the main objective behind the development of the system. There is no doubt that the existence of a mobile application will help students understand clearly how the real stock market works. As the data will be based on the real market.

More importantly, this will encourage students to get interested in real-life trading and persuade them to research about various companies while learning more about business decision making. Such simulation removes the fear of that of young students about real-life trading, as many believe anything that involves dealing with a huge sum of money is very risky. CBE is determined to guide students in making wise investment decisions, indulge in trading without worrying about the consequences, and enhance their engagement while using the application in the ‘ real trading mode.
