The paper "Child Prodigies" is an exceptional example of an educational book review. Child prodigies are exceptionally gifted and talented children who reclaim and harness their talent at a very early age. They start doing things which a normal adult would do at such an early age and with such great precision that they get labelled as “ Child Prodigies. ” “ Child prodigies are characterized by extraordinary ability in a given sphere of human endeavour often creative, quantitative, spatial, or lingual in composition. Their mastery, usually evident well before the age of ten, can appear without assistance, or in spite of it, and their achievements can provoke wonder and at times disbelief and are generally viewed as amazing for a person of any age” Understanding from the above passage, it can be deciphered that child prodigies are those individuals who at a very early age, less than ten years or so, start displaying and showcasing such abilities which are of a high-quality standard and which leaves a lasting impression on the observer.

This impression is magnified by the age of the individual, which implies brilliance since at a very nascent stage such individuals start to perform activities of the highest quality in their sphere of talent which to a normal human thought process an adult above the age of eighteen or so would have been able to do. Child prodigies need to be nurtured and taken care of as there is a great chance of them encountering a burn out even before they attain maturity in terms of other personal attributes.
