People in Indonesia fallen dependent on humanitarian aid from different countries and the world’s governing bodies. The worst-hit area has been Tegal Alur where floodwater has reached a level of 80-90 cms. What this has done is to bring in more tides as well as local rain and overflowing water from Kali Angke. Clean drinking water has, therefore, become a problem for the people of Indonesia which again leads to a number of issues and concerns all over the country (Author Unknown 2014). The regions affected badly due to the floods and which have actually led to water scarcity in terms of clean drinking water include South Sumatra, Jakarta, West Java, Central Java, South Kalimantan, Bali, and West Nusa Tenggara (NTB).

  Clean water is, therefore, a problem that needs a solution sooner than one can think of. This is the reason why there are many stomach-related ailments and deaths within the people of Indonesia.
