The urge to rule the world brought about the Axis together once again. Hitler’s Nazi Germany, Mussolini’s Fascist Italy, The Soviet Union, and the Empire of Japan signed a pact to dominate the world called ‘The Axis Pact’. The aim was to unite Germany with Russia and Japan across Eurasia to take control of the world (Eubank 2004).
