This section shows the reflection of the research study done on the topic by other researchers. It is divided into two i.e. global and local studies. Globally according to according to Al Blooshi and Ezzain (2013) to develop the students in schools and universities and to abide by the country’s sustainable development and growth, technological advancements have been included as part of the assignments and daily learning rituals. Educational systems portray eminent changes occurring in the society. It is worth noting that such systems seek to reproduce their values, beliefs, norms, and conditions with the help of institutions in the society. According to Emile Durkheim, educational systems reflect on the past changes in the societal development as time unfolds. By examining and analyzing those changes the educational systems can be reconstructed (Hoenisch, 2005). Similarly, Michael Fullan (n.d.) addressed the notion of educational changes in his works In this case; he concentrated on how people in the society took part in enhancing the change process. Some works present essential guidelines for resisting, coping, and leading change efforts. Those can range starting from any student to the national government (“Fullan’s Educational Change”, n.d.).

Development of the society can be reconstructed from the educational system. While seeking to identify changes in the sector, educational systems must act as direct reflectors of the society. Different perspective can be used to explain changes in the society express themselves through the educational platform because the society members design them (Hoenisch, 2005). In other words, the society is responsible for the construction of its educational system with an aim of promoting and reproducing ideal humanity. In this case, it designs a structure human beings should be parts of because they are members of the society. The notion illustrates that the educational system is also a ‘constraint’. According to Fullan (n.d.), the change process undergoes four primary phases, including initiation, implementation, continuation, and outcome. Various factors affect the initiation process, as the existence and availability of quality innovations. They are essential because they facilitate the efficiency of the implementation since the phase is dependent on accessibility to innovations. The three primary areas that affect the implementation include change characteristics, local characteristics, and the external factors.Meyer (1977) identified that various arguments relating to institutional conceptions have threatened educational systems. Thus, education can be defined as an allocating institution that operates under the set societal rules. Still, schools can regard failure or success apart from any social effects. Therefore, the process is done beyond the need of socialization.
