It is the least blameworthy of the UAE in the inculcation of a monetary strategy to initiate an art culture. Sheikh Sultan, its founder, regarded arts as an integral part of the schooling process (Ali, 2000). Since then, cultural development has been a key part of the education strategy of Sharjah. This has followed the opening of art exhibitions and galleries in major UAE cities, for instance, Dubai. Emirati governments have frequently tried to cover the void formed by the affluence of their cultural policies.

They have introduced awards for Emirati artists, which encourages them to be innovative and successful. Universities have introduced art courses with regard to UAE requirements. Art publications such as Bidoun have initiated programs to train writers and journalists about writing artistic work (Ali, 2000). The UAE art stage has stimulated the pointing-out of unexploited gaps in art. The next level will deepen and mature the art industry. This shall encourage Emirates to face issues in art education, value versus the value of art, and control.
