The definitions of common terms in religions such as Buddhism along with their meanings are often altered to suit the religious views of the whites. Words such as guru, mantra, and nirvana have totally different meaning in the English language as compared to the original Asian meaning. The cultic view of these religions does not just stop with Buddhism or the wrongful definition of these terms it boils down to the even depiction of whole religions as evil and destructive. Terrorism has led to a new form of racial profiling where Moslems are seen as enemies to civilization.

Western appropriation of these Hindu terms reflections the charlatanic view they have towards these beliefs. Asians are often seen as advantaged and are perceived to experience preferential treatment as compared to the other minorities. The truth is further from this statement as the Asians themselves are also subject to racism. Denial by these minorities and the white majority on the plight of Asian discrimination leads to the discrimination against them to just be an internal problem that only they suffer.

Can We Talk Reactions of racism against Asians are often seen as jokes and people expect them to laugh with them? Those who are seen to be against this racism are often seen as oversensitive and are often requested to take life easy, this in itself is discrimination. Prejudice is often seen as the root of racism. It takes more than just this to become a racist, as racism is being advantaged because of one’s race.
