Dubai serves as the business in the Arab Gulf region, hence making the city become a global one because of the innovativeness that makes up the city’s infrastructure that serves as key drivers for the economy of this region. As per the UAE Interact, the Crowned Prince of Abu Dhabi, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan inspected the Abu Dhabi-Dubai main road project, which is a development directive of the president of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. As per the transport department of UAE, the project’s aim was to alleviate traffic congestion on the main road that connects the major cities of Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

Further, the road will add to the many quality roads that exist in Dubai, which serves as an advantage to the city because it being a business hub for the UAE as it will open it up more. The traffic congestion will ease up once the road has been completed by allowing the flow of seven thousand vehicles in an hour, meaning that the new road will boost the economic potential of these two prime regions. According to Ruiz of The National UAE, construction of the E311, 62 kilometers main road began in 2013 and its completion is set for 2017, which will timely because of the estimated rise in vehicle traffic of up to 700 vehicles per hour by that time.
