Personal StatementThe essay outlines my personal goals that inspire the choice of mechanical engineering. It comprises education details, and career goals from my childhood up to my college studies. I experienced career choice challenges when I was young. However, I always had inner liking for machines. Science and mathematics were my subjects of preference since Kindergarten. Even though, my interests are diverse, covering every subject from biology to languages and art. However, excellent guidance and career nurturing by may teachers, and parents enabled me to focus greatly on the engineering field.

Throughout my studies, I enjoyed learning physics and mathematics. The subjects enhanced my theoretical knowledge and perfected my problem-solving ability. My concentration in sciences, especially physics, developed throughout my time at school. I participated in scientific and mathematical challenges aimed at solving daily life problems. Hence, my study and daily life practical experience in engineering motivate me that my career choice is exceptionally perfect. Presently, I specialize in mechanical engineering.

I chose this field because it satisfies my knowledge and advances my interests in machines and locomotives. I love mechanical engineering because of the practical life applications involved. The partiality reveals in my intrinsic character since, I fondly engage myself in all things mechanical. It is a habit I learned several years ago and still maintain it. Studying mechanical engineering offers me the experience and qualification of an inborn hobby (Stewart, 2009). I strongly believe the profession will guide me to achieve a significant milestone in life.

I am certain I will strive to attain my potential fully.
